I came to visit Iloilo because a relative passed away. In times like these, people often turn to food for comfort and I was blessed enough to be given these little tarts of Mazapan de Pili from the Tinapayan bakery at The Atrium. A box contains 16 bite-size goodness.  It has a

paper thin crust of filo pastry that crumbles when you bite it, while the mazapan and pili filling is chewy but not sticky, so it doesn't get caught in your teeth. It's not too sweet, and you will end up wanting more after the first bite.

It's definitely a must try when you're in Iloilo.
